Design and develop hardware solutions for EV chargers, focusing on communication interfaces (including RS485, USB, Ethernet, WiFi, etc.) and HMI.
Develop and implement power meter interfaces to ensure accurate and reliable energy measurements.
Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Conduct hardware testing and validation to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to integrate hardware solutions with system software.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues throughout the product lifecycle.
Perform design reviews and provide feedback to ensure quality and efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in EV charging technology and hardware design.
Document design specifications, test procedures, and other technical documentation.
Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in hardware design, preferably in the EV or automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of communication protocols and power meter interfaces.
Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer).
Experience with hardware testing and debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
Familiarity with EMC/EMI compliance and safety standards for EV chargers.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience with EV charging system design and implementation.
Knowledge of power electronics and energy management systems.
Understanding of IoT and cloud-based communication for EV chargers.
Previous experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design for test (DFT) practices.
